Pakuba Safari Lodge is nestled on the Eastern Bank of the Albert Nile in Murchison Falls National Park overlooking the spectacular Nile River. There are few lodges on this side of the river in the safari park itself, so you are well-positioned for being in the heart of the safari the minute you set off on your game drive. For some sightings, you won’t even need to leave the comfort of the lodge as the local wildlife is known to wander through the lodge, such as antelope, warthog, hippo and elephants. The lodge has cleverly designed the layout of the rooms so that most of them face out to the river which allows guests to enjoy the views from both their private verandah and from the perfectly positioned seating area which they have created in front of the river. A buffet dinner is served in their restaurant, serving a variety of meat, rice and fresh Ugandan dishes and on occasion, they set this up outside alongside a bbq.
Although a little simple in its style, I have no doubt that you will receive the perfect bush experience from game drives to boat cruises and cultural visits to chimpanzee tracking.
