Kyaninga Lodge is located on Lake Kyaninga, an ancient crater lake, and flanked by the Rwenzori Mountains, home to the third largest mountain in Africa after Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Kenya. The nine raised cottages are spacious and luxuriously fitted out with claw footed baths, feather filled pillows and private verandahs. Guests can choose between swimming in the pool overlooking the lake or even in the lake itself, and exploring the landscaped gardens is a welcome addition to the many walks around the forest and lakes that are available.
