Gorilla Safari Lodge is located in the Rushaga sector or Bwindi Inpenetrable National Park, and has 18 rooms styled to blend in with their forest surroundings. Each is connected by a series of cobbled pathways – the rooms further from the lodge have a large number of steps to get back up to the main area. The rooms are spacious and simply but stylishly decorated – some have a bath and fireplace. The start point for Rushaga treks is only 5 minutes drive away, and once the trekking is over, the lodge offers excursions out to nearby Lake Mutanda or the Bayenda waterfalls.
