The opportunities for adventure are all-encompassing in Uganda – safari activities are just a fraction of what is on offer. Head to Kidepo National Park, perhaps Uganda’s most exciting remote wilderness destination for isolated wildlife viewing. Challenge yourself to climb a volcano in the Viranga volcano range, hike into forest and gorges to find troopes of chimpanzees, follow forest paths to hidden waterfalls and caves and of course, track gorillas in their natural habitat.
Those wanting to raise their heart-rate still further can head to Jinga – source of the Nile, and tackle the Grade 5 white water rapids or (for the very brave), try their hand at bungee jumping. Jinga has established it’s reputation as East Africa’s adrenaline capital and offers a range of activities inline with this.
