As well as encountering the local wildlife, you can also take some time to interact with the local community through a guided walk or bike ride. Your expert guide will introduce you to the life of the Bahima people to learn about their cultural traditions, the heritage Ankole long-horned cows, the ghee-making process and taste some of the milk, perhaps even trying your hand at milking.
